This year, 2023, Tuscarora will once again have a 13 and under team in the PGA Junior League. PGA Junior League allows kids to compete in matches against teams from nearby courses such as Cortland CC, Skaneateles CC and Camillus CC. It also provides kids with a great opportunity to experience golf in a team competition, with a fun format. The goal of PGA Junior League is to get kids involved in the game and for them to enjoy playing golf. Our season will run from the end of May until right around August 1st. We will play 6-7 matches against local clubs, some at Tuscarora and some at other courses. We will have 1-2 practices per week, depending on our match schedule. This year's team will be run by two of our Assistant Golf Professionals, John Sullivan and Josh Marshall. To register your child, please contact the Pro Shop. Every Friday morning during the summer Tuscarora’s junior golfers enjoy a day devoted to golf, food and fun. The course is set aside for the kids and dozens of junior golfers ages 5-17 take part in group lessons, golf and lunch. The program is open to children and grandchildren of members.
